Rigging and equipment design is increasingly becoming a must for both stunt rigging and flying cameras.
Production companies are starting to want to visualize what is going to be built before it happens
Outlining the entire rig and its working lines, position of equipment, positions of performers etc helping to iron out any problems before they become expensive or dangerous.
Weather it is a simple 2d drawing, or a more elaborate 3d design. We can lay up a plan and have it approved by the client before any actual rigging happens.
If it is a substantially large rig or the equipment is working outside its usual parameters then these designs can be taken to a structural engineer for analysis in order to get a complete sign off before commencement of the project
